Bear1Boss, the torchbearer of ATL's eccentric internet rap sound, has just released his new mixtape Lil Hotsauce 2 — out now via Cleopatra Records and Popstar FM. With features from UnoTheActivist, Matt OX, Dom Corleo, Yung Bans, CLIP, Brennan Jones, and Sid Shyne, Lil Hotsauce 2 introduces a refreshing, rage-ready new sound for Bear1Boss. Largely produced by Sebastian Shah (Drake, Yeat), Lil Hotsauce 2 finds the rapper coming to terms with his demons — and reflecting on the personal struggles he's had to overcome to get to this point as an artist at the vanguard of ATL's futuristic new rap movement. The project follows singles "GINOBILI", "MANATEE", and "18 WHEELER" and arrives on the heels of a 2024 year that saw him release tapes like Bubbles, Big Slime Like a Dragon 2, and SUPER BOSS!, the latter of which Pitchfork hailed as “a bass-heavy collage of Mario noises, trap beats, and whirling synths." In addition to inking a joint co-publishing deal with Rick Rubin's American Songs and Pulse Music Group, the rapper also recently embarked on his first major tour in 2024 as direct support for Homixide Gang (Opium) on their North American 5 Activity Tour and made standout appearances on evilgiane’s #HEAVENSGATE VOL. 1 with the track “IDK NUN" as well as UnoTheActivist's new project Omega Music Reloaded.
