Guy J makes a much anticipated return to Sudbeat for the first time sinks his 2009 "Pleasurety" ep. The Bedrock artist is one of the most consistent and productive artists of today and 2011 was yet another bumper year for the Israeli. At the close of the year we were treated to "Meridian" his co-production with Henry Saiz on Bedrock, his remix of Sian's "Sacred Geography" on Octopus and his stunning "Soul Of Arp" release on Funk D'Void's Outpost Recordings. Having already kicked of 2012 with a bumper remix package for Bedrock, we find Guy already in blistering form. His latest double-header for Sudbeat kicks off with "High," a powerful techie uplifting number that grooves throughout and, whilst it does tempt us with a 'take off', the track teasingly never peaks. Cocoon artist Marc Marzenit however, shoots us into the stratosphere. Building the intensity throughout his mix, its powerful drums and dramatic melody create an arena rocking moment. Guy's second original "Pathos" is a wonderfully warm and atmospheric number. Sweeping strings and staccato melody give a warm and euphoric feeling. Bringing a similar feeling with his warping baseline and dreamy melody is Sudbeat artist Luis Junior.

Manual Music founder Paul Hazendonk surprises with a breakbeat infused remix of Snap!'s iconic 1992 classic Rhythm Is A Dancer. 

What started out as simply having a little fun in the studio, jamming with some beats and a sampler, turned out into a full 6 minute version simply because it rocked too much to leave it as 'just a loop'.

Unofficial remix of course and needless to say this won't be available for sale.

After almost 8 years as a platform for new and established artists as well as for Sasha’s own productions, Last Night On Earth is a global success. Quivvers Takin Over 2020 rework has captured the timeless quality that immediately sets his finest productions apart from so much of todays disposable mass music production line. His ability to create a simple melody and then absolutely perfect it to every degree imaginable is untouchable. Here, he adds pace and punch in perfect proportions, as the track builds with a purring urgency in an intricate, ever-evolving arrangement, whilst retaining its original, deeply haunting timeless beauty.

The past year has seen a stream of excellent releases from Giorgia Angiuli, the uniquely talented Italian composer and multi-instrumentalist, on the likes of Einmusika, Warung, Stil Vor Talent and Systematic. By wrapping her vibrating and energetic groove around a heavy, pulsating kick, on an expanding evocative bed of humming, swirling synth lines and allowing the distinctive, beautiful melodious Takin Over hook to peep out of the musical whirl, Giorgia creates a deliciously feisty remix, taking the track in an entirely fresh and firing direction.

In perfect contrast, as a prolific master of the deeper end of the house music spectrum, Vincenzo conjures up a distinctly soulful mood, coupled with his trademark pulsating electronic vibe. From the opening resonant kick and hi-hat build, he masterfully morphs Takin Over into a uniquely vociferous version. His is an unhurried, deeply emotional take that captures the originals laid-back, mesmeric beauty to perfection. As finales go, it would be hard to top the renowned Berlin-based producer when hes on such fine form.
