Listeners who are familiar with the components that make up a Chop Suey Joint composition will instantly recognise the dynamic at work in this lush organic slice of jazz. Compared to the vast majority of the body of work that Chop Suey Joint have recorded over the last two decades, while this sonic adventure may be somewhat more minimalistic as regards the number of players, the high quality of the musicians coupled with their innate rapport means that it is nonetheless bursting with pretty ideas and melodies.

Chop Suey Joint is an experimental collaborative music project including dozens of professional musicians from different parts of the globe. Each track is meticulously crafted, using a creative process which allows the musicians and vocalists to participate freely to create something uniquely theirs while at the same time serving the musical direction of the piece. This very time consuming process is more than evident when listening to the compositions - they shine brightly with the sounds of creative sparks exploding in a supernova of fun and sonic fantasia.
