Okyeame Kwame is one of the earliest rap brands in the country in 1997. He was part of a group called Akyeame who were the first Hiplife acts to receive an award at the prestigious Ghana music awards in 1999
His brand is not just his logo or his outward image; it is the reputation he has built over 18 years of his music career. Okyeame Kwame is a decent lyricist, a philanthropist, and educationist who is also a taught leader.

He is a Graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Happy husband, proud father and enigmatic entertainer and currently a student at University of Ghana, Legon, pursuing Masters in marketing strategy.
He is a family man with strong values. His diligence and skill in art won him the most coveted award in the music industry, during the Ghana music awards in 2009, Artiste of the year. In that same year, he won the Artiste of the year at Joy Fm Nite with The Starz. He has recently, in 2015, won the MOGO artiste of the year as well as other prestigious awards.
