You ever notice how summer just feels different? Like, the world finally wakes up again? That’s what this album is about.

My name’s Logan Bolt, I’m a 20-year-old rapper/songwriter from Newfoundland, and this is Orange.

You see orange is my favourite colour, but to me, it’s more than that. It’s the colour of summer, the colour of fun, fuckin swimming and partying with your friends. It’s what feels like the world finally coming back to life after a long, grey winter.

See, throughout this album, I use orange as a term to represent everything vibrant, exciting, fun, and alive. And I use grey to describe the opposite; the boring, depressing seasons and moments we all try to survive.

This album is about growing up, but not letting go of the stuff that makes life fun. Maturing where it matters. I might be maturing, but I’m still gonna love “childish shit”. 

I still wanna swim like a fuckin fish, I’m still gonna love my comic books and the movies about them, I’m still gonna believe I can truly turn this music life into a sustainable income. I’m still gonna laugh with my friends playing fuckin video games til 4 in the morning. I’m still gonna enjoy partying and getting together with my friends and family. 

That stuff matters to me. That’s Orange.
