DJing since 1992, playing and producing Psychedelic Goa Trance since 1996, Kri demonstrates immense dedication to the art by his ceaseless attention to every detail of the experience. The sound he creates through his live act is being heralded around the planet and is breathing simmering new life into the Trance world as if the music is propelled by a dragon high on Kundalini yoga. Kri brings us music that forces us to remember why we are alive and to give thanks for every nuance of that sacred gift. This live set contains all released and unreleased tracks of Kri Samadhi. The main idea behind the set is to take the listeners to a world of ear skeptic ideas and imagination with a sonic groove to bind you into a rhythm of perfect dream.

Indian darkpsy master Fuzulu starts on 16th Thursday 8pm CET on the Trance channel.

FUZULU is the psytrance project of Ehsan Kamran from Mumbai, India. This project is characterized by the night/twilight driving psychedelic sound and is known to be an out-n-out dance floor smasher! FUZULU has various releases on labels such as Bhooteshwara Records & Vantara Vichitra Records. Besides psytrance, Ehsan is also producing a different style of music. This project "ESSIO" explores the slower, funkier side of electronica with deep baselines and evolving melodies. ESSIO has released a few singles and a debut ep "TENTICULAR GROOVES" which can be found here. MADJIC STUDIO is Ehsan's workstation in Mumbai, where he is the chief sound engineer and he is constantly collaborating with various artists. He has also just launched MADJIC STUDIO PRODUCTIONS, a record label dedicated to music produced at MADJIC STUDIO. The first release of this label is "FUZULU - MORPHIC RESONANCE" ep which was released at the end of 2013. At the moment Ehsan is working on several collaborations with various artists and labels. Ehsan will perform the first FUZULU set outside his country this summer in Turkey.

production notes:
This started out with a narrative I wrote for the track about a lone figure that awoke without memory in a cave that appeared to be sentient, and inhabited ravers entranced by strange relics. The usual psychedelic trope stuff. I recorded the vocals myself, and used them to inform the initial arrangement of the track. It became evident that the story would result in a evolving and winding musical expedition. However, my voice really didn't suit it. So I used elevenlabs to generate a new AI version of the vocals - that are used here. Later I stripped most of the vocals out, however the story they informed is now the song.

Each track I make offers new challenges.. here I really wanted to shift genres and sounds a lot. It sounds quite basic, but there's a lot going on here from a bassline that absolutely isn't traditional psytrance (although the base pattern is inspired by "Robotoised" by Quirk), to shifting from saw bass, to square wave, to switching the whole thing up in to a Brazil-inspired shponglised breakdown - considering I had no knowledge of this musical style, let alone how to produce it. However the real challenge was finishing this track. The arrangement has been 'complete' for months now with me tweaking and trying to polish it up enough to release it. 

I also decided to make this a multi-part song. Again, inspired by Shpongle albums where tracks eb and flow between each other. Part 2 of this isn't included here, but I hope I can make it become a full mixed album. Something for later.
