Wasteland

Christian Borgmann aka Samsara, is a Danish-born DJ and record collector.
His journey into electronic music began back in his early teenagehood and after a few years, he discovered the electronic ambient genre which grew into his big passion and later on, lead him behind the decks.
Since the beginning of his DJ carreer, he performed at a great number of festivals and events accross the world and of course in his homeland, Denmark.
Inspired by the nature and isolated places, his mixes are often a selection of ambient / downtempo / IDM music with deep cinematic soundscapes and layers of organic textures.
He joins Ultimae Records in 2015 and is currently selecting works for an upcoming compilation release.

Campfire Stories 70 (The Solace of Water) by Chryslsm

Urlop, dzień szósty. Molo w Kołobrzegu. Był bardzo mocny wiatr i wysokie fale przewalały się przez betonowe ściany molo i chlupotało w basenie, gdzie normalnie jest spokojniejsza woda niż wszędzie dookoła. Wiatr właściwie uniemożliwił nagrywanie w jakimkolwiek odsłoniętym miejscu. Pod wodą też działo się znacznie więcej niż dwa dni wcześniej w tym samym miejscu.

Vacation, day six. Pier in Kolobrzeg. It was very windy and high waves were crashing over the concrete walls of the pier and were splashing in the pool where the water is usually significantly calmer than all around. The wind practically made it impossible to record in any other place that was not covered. There was much more going on under water in the same spot compared how it was two days earlier.
