Neural Mindstream was an electronic music project by Joe Saad and Scott Padamonsky formed back in 2001. We originally met in 1990 at Hollidaysburg H.S. Pennsylvnia where we formed our first electronic band named Full Auto Reverse (derived from a feature that was common on cassette players at the time). Our instruments back then consisted of three Casio keyboards, a Yamaha drum machine and a Stereo Shack Realistic Stereo Mixer which was routed through a Pioneer Stereo system. We then added two more band members which included Jonathan Buchanan on vocals and Eric Bechtel on drums.  Unfortunately, the band disbanded after our freshman year in 1992 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). 

Fast forward to 2001, we reunited to form Neural Mindstream. Unlike the equipment from our first band, we combined our instruments we acquired over the past 9 years which now consisted of an Ensoniq ASR-10 sampler, Ensoniq SD-1 synthesizer work station, Sequential Circuits Six-Trak synthesizer, Kawai K-1 synthesizer, Kawai R-100 drum machine, Korg Electribe EM-1 drum machine, two Radio Shack Realistic turntables. Peavey Ultraverb II effects processor and a Phonic MM1705 mixer.

The music we created was a blend of 80's music such as Depeche Mode, Erasure, and New Order complimented by electronic bands of the 90's such as The Orb, Delirium, Front Line Assembly, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Front 242, Moby, Enigma, Nitzer Ebb, and Deep Forest to name a few and topped off with samples of clips from either old albums we owned, albums found at yard sales or TV.

The tracks uploaded were recorded back in 2001 in Joe's basement or Scott's apartment on Scott's computer so so sorry if the quality isn't amazing but enjoy. We highly recommend listening to each song until the end as the construction of each song was designed to tell a story. for the best effect, listen in your car or with headphones .
