Diesmal strecken wir unsere Fühler bis ins Baltikum aus. Der umtriebige lettische Producer Zionov ND hat in seiner mehrjährigen Karriere bereits auf mehr als einem Dutzend verschiedener Labels veröffentlicht. Ursprünglich aus dem Hip Hop kommend, traf er irgendwann ganz bewusst die Entscheidung, Drum and Bass zu produzieren. Seine Inspirationen zieht er jedoch nicht nur aus dem Hip Hop, sondern aus ganz verschiedenen Musikstilen. Zionov NDs Mission ist es, uns mit seiner Musik zu stärken und uns nur gute Vibes mit auf den Weg zu geben. Für seine 4-Track-EP auf UTM-Records sind das insbesondere Vibes, die unsere Unarten („Bad Habits“) wegfegen bzw. stoppen („Stop it“), den alten Sturm („Old Storm“) vertreiben und stattdessen hybride Magie kreieren („Hybrid Magic“). Die „Old Storm-EP“ ist nicht nur, aber auch eine Laudatio an den Pre-Neurofunk-Sound. Liebhaber des rollenden techy DnB werden daran große Freude haben. Und wir schicken einen großen Dank nach Riga!

This time we are putting out feelers to the Baltic States. The busy Latvian producer Zionov ND has already released on more than a dozen different labels in his multi-year career. Originally coming from Hip Hop, he made a conscious decision at some point to produce Drum and Bass. However, he does not only draw his inspiration from Hip Hop, but from a wide variety of musical styles. Zionov ND’s mission is to empower us with his music and give us only good vibes along the way. For his 4-track EP on UTM-Records, these are in particular vibes that sweep away our had habits (“Bad Habits“) or stop them (“Stop it”), drive away the old storm (“Old Storm”) and create hybrid magic instead (“Hybrid Magic”). The “Old Storm-EP” is not only, but also a laudatory speech to the pre-Neurofunk sound. Lovers of the rolling techy DnB will have great fun with it. And we send a big thank you to Riga!
