Die gospelsanger Majozi is ’n plaaslke musikant van Durban – en dié lieflike jong man loop met sy spreekwoordelike hart op sy mou rond, dis nou maar vir seker. Of wag, letterlik. Hy’t tattoes, natuurlik, maar die meeste is opgedra aan Jesus en aan sy ma. Die twee grootste invloede in sy lewe, en die kern van die liedjies wat hy skryf. 
Die interessantste ding van Majozi is dat hy mense aangryp oor alle kleur-, geloof- of genregrense heen. Hy’s hoeka vanjaar by Oppikoppi ook – ’n eerste vir ’n gospelsanger? 
Hy’t op 13 homself begin leer kitaar speel, en uiteindelik by die universiteit van Kwa-Zulu Natal opgeëindig as ’n student in jazz en populêre musiek. Hyself beskou sy musiek as ‘indie-folk’ met subtiele invloede van electro – en dan die bykomende geestelikheid van sy geloof as hoof-inspirasie.
 In 2013 het hy sy eerste EP, Marvelous Light, vrygestel – en skielik was hy no. 9 op die SA musiekkaart en tops op iTunes! Dit moet jou tog iets vertel…
Sy volgende album, The River, het gereelde lugtyd gekry op 5FM, Kfm en omtrent elke ander radiostasie in die land.
