The Surver's 2014 xmas special is a punk-meets-rockabilly version of 'Run Rudolph Run' by Johnny Marks and Marvin Brodie, made popular by Chuck Berry's 1958 record. It features all the ingredients of a classic xmas carol: mindblowing lead vocals, swinging honky tonk piano, driving double bass lines, razor sharp guitar riffs, chrystal clear xmas choirs and whipping drum beats.

In addition, the Surver's version features for the first time ever the previously unrecorded 3rd verse, included here as bonus verse with extra refrain. What else do you need to celebrate Rock&Roll xmas?

This is a demo track of some of the Kemper profiles we did with my '72 Fender Princeton Reverb (a.k.a. the "Pupille" amp).
The profiles were recorded at JAM-Productions studio Wuerzburg by Ali Lionet. A Sure SM 57, Sennheise MD421, Beyer Dynamic TH150 and a t-bone RB500 were used, alone and in pairs.
In total 14 profiles were created, both with the internal Jensen speaker and an Emminence 12" in an external cabinet. All profiles had to be created without the internal vibrato and reverb.
The profiles used here were recorded without any modifications, straight out of the Kemper into WAV file. Guitars used are a semi accoustic with humbuckers, an  archtop with P90, a Strat and a Tele.
