If I had to choose a category, I suppose it would fall into rock music.￼￼ it is about the two sides of ourselves, the light and the dark.￼

I am a singer/songwriter/musician, former actor In film television and stage, wife￼ and mom of 2 awesome grown children￼. I am currently concentrating on writing a humorous autobiography, short stories, and reflections on daily life. I am blessed to have traveled the world and am grateful for some amazing experiences and wonderful people who have crossed my path along the journey.￼￼ 

Just one month ago, I created my own website! On the website I have a blog page where you can read about my experience, or rather lack of experience, in building a website. I am a singer, songwriter, musician, mom, tool girl, dog rescuer, house manager, and a lot of other things, but I am not a graphic artist and I have certainly never built a website! I have been fortunate enough to have some of my original songs available on online music venues like Apple Music, iTunes, YouTube and more.  I hope that people will search “Jeanine Michaels and the Mothers Heartlight Band” to find songs they may enjoy. ￼I created two CDs with my talented musicians, the Mothers Heartlight Band. “Dinosaurs Musical Day” is for families with children, and “One Light”  for grown-ups.￼ dinosaurs musical day also has a coloring book created to go with it. It is a great way to bond with your kids as you color along with the songs and discover your own inner child. Also a good entertainment option for caregivers.

I found SoundCloud today for the first time because I was following a link from my brother Chris Hlavka,  who has his original songs on this website. I am so fortunate to have two brothers, Jay and Chris Hlavka, who are not only my cradle to grave buddies, but they are also both talented musicians. And my brother Chris has some beautiful original music available here. Thank you Chris and Jay for being members of my “Mothers ❤️ Light Band” It is my honor!￼￼￼

We currently have three pups living with us, and I have had rescue dogs all my life.￼ Music, children, creating, and animals are my passions in life. ￼￼Although ￼ lately I have been doing house updates and organization, and have been installing and assembling, cleaning, donating clothing, etc, and even got myself my own tool set￼, drill and A custom apron that says “MusicMom with Toolbox 🧰 ”￼

A recent development has been my newfound passion for making videos! I have two YouTube channels and the most recent is a new kids channel. I have been loving making videos with kids in mind. Most of them are ⭐️ starring our rescue 🐶 pup￼s, “The 3 Amigos”
It is an opportunity to use some of my own music as well as incorporate my creative skills. Sometimes you have to wait a long time in life to find exactly what it is you are supposed to be doing!
