The Semi-Finals Concert of the 2017 IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition was held on Sunday 4th June at the Independent Theatre in North Sydney. 

The semi-finalists in order of performance are: Jae Kwon Kim, baritone; Livia Brash, soprano; Damian Arnold, tenor; Lauren Lodge-Campbell, soprano; Paull-Anthony Keightley, bass baritone; Shikara Ringdahl, mezzo; Imogen-Faith Malfitano, soprano; Filipe Manu, Tenor; Katherine McIndoe, soprano; Daniel Carison, baritone; Natasha Wilson, soprano. Guest Artists were the Cumberland Quartet.

Adjudicators for the Semi-Finals Concert were Catrin Johnsson (National Adjudicator), Tahu Matheson, Emma Matthews, Raff Wilson and Narelle Yeo. The accompanist was David Harper. The compere was Camille Merčep.

GRACE CLIFFORD Sonata in A for violin and piano, D574 (Schubert)

Born in Darwin and now based in Melbourne, Lloyd Van't Hoff studied at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and subsequently at the Australian National Academy of Music. He has performed at the Beijing Modern Music Festival, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Grafenegg Music Festival, the Young Euro Classic in Berlin, and at the Banff Centre in Canada. He has peformed with many of Australia's professional orchestras and as a soloist with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria.
