Summoning a provoking collection of new breed producers, Redacted have unfolded the first chapter of a 3 part series, Mizaru_01:

Rising the ranks of 160, footwork, breaks, garage & grime, Disaffected have become a mainstay artist for their home of Bristol. Their debut to Redacted features an energetic, vocal chopped 160 slammer. The artists of Mizaru_01 & Redacted want to do our bit to support those who have been forced to flee their homes because of the Ukraine conflict. we'll be donating our Bandcamp Revenue to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal from Disasters Emergency Committee.

As a bass music enthusiast of many years it only made sense that melba would pick up the headphones & Ableton at some point - a friendly face on the Newcastle club scene since 2015, and a DJ / Producer since 2022. melba is a passionate advocate for diversity of people and sounds within underground music, growing up listening to the fast pace of Makina and Clubland, setting the tone for her taste in electronic music.

melba’s debut release comes in the form of insatiable, a 160bpm slammer already receiving support from LCY, Tañ, Sweetpea, Nectax and more. The track is a nod to different styles, with a moody footwork influenced intro, progressing into a stripped back bass-booming drop. This one is destined for the club.

Following the events of "Annihilation" and "Irrational Fear", xato presents the third part of his personal odyssey, "Stories with no fairy tales".

"Stories with no fairy tales" explores the dark self, with intense drone recordings, aggressive drum sounds and deep bass being the main sound focus of the project, surrounded by field-recording manipulations and deeply evolving textures.

As the project's tracks aged between 2019 and 2021, it never felt like the right time to release the project. However things changed when the reasons behind the tracks were revamped in the more recent years.
