“Nothing2” is a jilted yet strangely joyful sprawl about feeling nothing at all and everything all at once. A five and a half minute emotional outburst full of misery & magic, gut-wrenching punches, beautiful bruises, abrupt endings & unexpected new beginnings.  

Strange Souvenirs together with producer and creative collaborator Cameron James Laing turned a downtrodden demo into something melancholy, majestic … and a little bit mental.

The track was recorded, produced & mixed at The Famous Gold Watch Studio Berlin and features performances by a handful of charismatic & capable Berlin-based musicians and artists.

"Nothing2" hits stores and streaming services on May 13th 2021.

The Way I Fell In

Q: What happens when you take a huge guitar-driven indie pop song, chop the tempo in half and replace 99% of the guitars with hazy mellotrons, fractured electronics, pianos and brass?

A: PIXELS  

PIXELS takes the listener on a brooding sonic journey. The song builds around the idea that we’re all pixels in an ever-changing cosmic mosaic, waiting to randomly attract or repel the other particles on our path – as we spiral and drift through an equally beautiful and brutal universe.

PIXELS was co-written with producer Cameron James Laing and is a bittersweet sonic sibling of the band’s  previous release “The Way I Fell In.”
