Hi! I hope you're doing well :) I'm so excited to share my first song of 2025 with you! I wrote and recorded this one when it was raining REALLY heavily on my skylight, and I thought it would sound awesome on a song ❤️ SO I picked up my guitar and voice memos, and this is what happened :)

I wrote the origins of this song at 2 AM, trying to match a music video idea in my head. 'I'd Leave You Alone' embodies a feeling of contentment in a situation where sadness would usually reside - happiness in chances not taken. Although I tried to record a 'studio' version of the song, to try and improve the quality of the mix, I decided to revert to the live vocals and guitar from the original demo, to give it an imperfect, 'human' sound, to reflect the song's meaning.

After being scouted by the BBC to take part in a new talent competition for young musicians, as well as being featured by The Luna Collective, Little Dose of Indie, and Start Track, Charlie Bennett returns with his dreamy, romantic single, 'Cosy Comfort'. Featuring his trademark imperfect guitar playing and soothing sleepy vocals, ‘Cosy Comfort’ marks the synthesis of style for Charlie’s discography, as he now begins to plan his highly anticipated European busking tour this Summer with indie band Process.
