What’s the motive? Is a song that I co- produced with Twin Two and wrote all about manifesting the life I’m going to live. “Bright lights, flash cars, everyday we’re living our dreams, it’s the vision”. This is literally me manifesting. I then go on to say “we’ve come so far” because even though in reality I haven’t quite reached my goals- it’s still so important to reflect and be grateful for the development. This time two years ago I dropped out of university and was on universal credit as I worked for free for radio stations- now that hard work has got me a paid job in radio. The hook is there to celebrate this success!! It’s about having fun & letting loose because I’ve come so far! So ultimately What’s the Motive? Is a celebration of my journey in life so far. This song is very relatable to many, especially as the term- what’s the motive? Is used amongst the majority of teenagers across the U.K.

This is a track made from sample of the Echorda.The Echorda is a series of electro-mechanical sound installations using solenoid hammers to play musical instruments.
