Gentle Sound

I was sent the cello piece a little over a year ago by a musician friend of mine, asking me to do something with it. She titled her short piece with: Trumps_Impeachment.

These days I did something intuitive with it. And now it sounds like Trumps_Indictment, in line with what's happening in USA right now. And hoping that this case will lead to a cleansing of this society, and all the hatred, lies, etc. that this man has fomented will disappear with his indictment.

Duet is a musical dialogue between a French horn and an echo delay. Listen to this wonderful ambient sound that the echo creates if you let it, and what answers the French horn finds.

This remix is based on the song "Looseness in Life" by Zameen-A. It's such a wonderful song, especially Zameen-A's Persian violin playing goes incredibly deep and touches existence somewhere deep in a hidden corner. And I wanted to respond to this longing that I feel with my longing, and I allowed myself to simply improvise to it with my French horn and see what comes out. This is what came out of it. Maybe it's too much longing for one song, but it gave me great pleasure to simply join in to the sounds of Zameen-A.
