Fall - (Single)

So I've been pretty silent recently, and for that I apologize. But don't worry, I am still producing! This is a track I composed for the Utah TSA 2019 Music Production Event, and ended up winning 2nd in state with. It's also a different genre than those I've done in the past, but I promise I haven't lost my ambient trance style :) Thanks for listening!

Also, I have an EP in the works slated for release later this year (2019). I may or may not be working on a non-TSA edit of this track to include in that release, so stay tuned!

Pathfinder - (TSA EDIT)

The following mix was recorded live on a DDJ-400. The song order was established on-the-fly, and everything was mixed with the end goal of having a consistent beat throughout the mix with minimal deviation in BPM. Contains songs by Above & Beyond, Porter Robinson, and many others!

It's been a journey.

December of 2017 is when I began producing music. Back then I wasn't very good at it, though with the help of my family, friends, and mentors I learned a great deal. I published a bit more frequently back then, and I felt that with every song I wrote, I got a bit better at it.

This EP has been sitting in my library for a while, because I just couldn't muster the courage to release it. However, this is a perfect transition into a new era. My life has changed a great deal since 2017, and so has my music. This will be the last release in what I consider to be my old style, my production when I was learning how things fit together to produce a finished track.

I may be going away for just a bit longer, but I won't be gone forever. I'm in the works with something new, something better than anything I've produced before.

The time has come.

This is a track I am truly proud of, in the style I hope to produce in and perform someday. As my first release under Will Watkins, I am proud to call this my first 'true' song. Thank you to everyone for supporting me thus far, for everyone who believed and continues to believe in me :)
