Feels So Right - Alabama Cover

'For Now' is a dedication to "Mother Earth and is in part, the sorrow that I feel for the desecration of Planet Earth. The piece is in the form of a soundscape, for the want of a better genre description. However that aside, I still have a positive attitude towards over coming the forces of darkness, that are intent upon destroying this beautiful place that we all call home. So Happy New Year to all and health and happiness for 2022.

The second movement of a suite for violoncello and piano. Written in 2022 february. A meditative and dreamlike mood let me write this piece. A short escape away from the bad news, to get new trust in future.

"Aeon of decision" For Violoncello And Piano Mvt 2

This is a song that started with Ian (IPG1 aka Lou) and his amazing vocal stem, of which I really identify with the lyrics. He has a plethora of vocal stems, so if you're interested in making a hip hop song, you did hit him up. He shared this psychiatrist l particular one with Tez (Llanpsych), who put a beat and guitar on it. Tez then sent it to me, and I added the bass and the synth. Then Tez put the solo part in there along with the effects. he mixed and produced it, and an excellent job he always does, too. This is my first foray into making hip hop, though I've listened to plenty. Hopefully there will be more to come.

Legacy Broken is a cinematic orchestral concept album that explores the psychological weight of legacy, family, and emotional silence. Blending restrained elegance with hypnotic minimalism, each track unfolds like a room in a haunted memory palace—echoes of conversations, legal inheritances, betrayals, and unresolved grief.

Muted strings, fractured piano motifs, trembling horns, and emotionally conflicted harmonic structures form a sonic language of unspoken tension and decaying tradition. The arrangements resist resolution, allowing silence, repetition, and space to carry as much meaning as melody.

This album is not just a score — it’s a portrait of inheritance, power, and the long shadows of memory. The finale song "Inheritance of Silence" concludes with a vocalized song about empty love, wealth and social responsibility.

Hi there,
first of I all I would like to say THANK YOU for all your likes and comments during the last months and years and say SORRY that I did not answer for a longer time. 

A few years ago I decided to make a change in my life and learned a new profession (physiotherapist). It took me a few years so that my focus was another one than my music. But now, after finishing the training and arriving in my new job I returned to my passion "piano music". 
Well, I did not stop to play the piano, but it did not really flow. Too many thoughts in my mind. 
But now, it feels so good and easy to play and ideas for new tracks are coming back. And exactly this mood and these emotions made it possible to create two new tracks within a short time and to record them in my favourite recording studio "Tonstudio Katzer" in Nürnberg (Thank you again, Romin! Great job! Always a great time!)

So from now on I will be more present on my platform and try my very best to answer to the comments I got and get! Thank you for your support!! Take care! :-)

my name is Claudia Schlegel and I am glad you drop by. 🙂

I learned to play the piano as a child for several years. Honestly I don´t really know how many. But already in that time I prefered to compose than just to play already existing classical piano pieces. For sure I learned quite a lot from my piano teacher as he was a really good pianist and it was great to play pieces from Tschaikowky, Rachmaninoff etc. But it did not catch me enough for continuing. So I stopped and concentrated on sports and came back to playing  the piano not until seven years ago. It was like „love at second sight“. Since that time I compose my own piano pieces in my leisure time, by which I can express my emotions and handle different situations in live. My music helps me quite a lot to calm down. 

You are very welcome to listen to them. If you like them I will be very happy! If not, no problem at all. I am glad that at least you gave it a try! 

My tracks "Grateful", "Lost in dreams", "Let go", "Traumpfad", "Neuanfang" and "A Sunday in November" (studio version) have been recorded in "Tonstudio Katzer" in Nürnberg in Germany in 2019 and 2022, my new tracks "For more humanity" and "Open your heart" in October 2024. Thank you Romin! Amazing job! Always a great experience and pleasure to be in your studio and to get your professional input! :-)
