Solid Steel (26th December) The votes have been counted and the listeners choice of Solid Steel 'Mix of the Year 2014' goes to Clap! Clap!, with runners up Maribou State, Catching Flies and Matt Berry. Congratulations to Aanand Davé, who was the lucky winner of the Ninja Tune prize and here once again are the most popular mixes.

Catching Flies opens the second half. The London producer already has a few acclaimed EP's and remixes under his belt and supported Bonobo on his European tour this year. His mix opens with Chick Corea, Kazi on Stones Throw, Jon Hopkins and the Moods remix of his track 'Sunrays' from The Stars EP. Then it's into Letherette, Dirg Gerner, Caribou and his beautiful collaboration with Ifan Daffyd.
We close with Matt Berry and his mix from July. Well known for his appearances in The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh and more recently his award winning Toast of London. He's also a musician in his own right with several albums under his belt, the latest being 'Music For Insomniacs' where he channels the synthesised soundscapes of Vangelis and Mike Oldfield. There's no track list, but he plugs into musicals like Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds and Jesus Christ Superstar, soundtrack work by John Carpenter & Alan Howarth and pop from Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and Kate Bush.

Moontribe is a community of friends and family who gather in the desert to dance beneath the full moon. Founded in 1993, the group has been gathering for 27 beautiful years and has rippled thoughout the world of music across many genres and inspired countless amounts of people. 
Brandroid is the side project of our very own Horns And Hoofs artist, Myad. This side project has grown from a small outlet to explore sound into an energy all its own. Brandroid's First EP "Not a Virus" climbed to Beatport's top 10 album sales (#8) inspiring him to decend even deeper into his passion for dancefloor oriented broken-beat soundsoundscapes!
