We also chat about the unexpected breakdown of transportation package negotiations due to the Democrats' introduction of HB 2025, which I oppose due to the proposed significant tax and fee increases impacting citizens and a lack of transparency, contrasting it with the Republican alternative that focuses on roads and bridges.

Join Adam and I as we discuss the problematic HB 2025 work session, emphasizing the delayed fiscal information and the unusual removal of Senator Meek from the committee by Senate President Wagner.  We also chat about my opposition to this $15 billion bill centering on the lack of fiscal details and its potential negative impacts on taxpayers and rural communities.

I moved to Tillamook in 1970 to escape the cold weather of the Midwest. I taught first through third grade children for 30 years. I've operated two small businesses, served on Tillamook City Council and then as mayor.

​As Tillamook Mayor, I focused on economic development issues that are critical to the rural communities in Senate District 16. As a longtime local elected official, I am a big believer in state legislation that protects the ability of Oregon’s distinct communitie​​s to decide for themselves what their priorities are

I have spent my career helping kids and families right her in Rural Northwest Oregon.
