I wrote this song on an airplane heading back to LA, when it seemed like I just couldn't feel anything anymore. In times like that, punch to the face would be perferable to the numbness. As humans we are put here to feel things, good and bad. And to feel them deeply. Depression can rob us of this essential part of life, and I think this happens to more of us than we know. I look around me and I see people hiding from their feelings, running from them, masking them, or simply unaware of them. So on behalf of the stat of the world, I present to you...
