Andy Tommasi   graduated from Berklee  school of music with a Ba in music where he  studied  harmony with Alex Ulanowsky, and Gary Burton, linewriting  and arranging in the style of Duke Ellington with Herb Pomeroy ( trumpet player in the last Charlie Parker quintet), and Jazz impro with Charlie Banacos  and Jerry Bergonzi. After playing with several local bands in the Boston area and with Fawzi Ben Gamra with his traditional group in North Africa he moved to NYC where he started Bedford Productions.
