Romantic love, gentle, passionate, intense, dramatic. Inspired by a melody by Freddie Mercury.

This is a piano concerto with the title "Playful Passion" that I completed in November 2021. I took about one and a half years to write. It is 21 minutes long in one movement.

It is in tonal, accessible, early-mid 20th century style. The music is melodic, sensual, emotional, loving, gentle, dramatic, story-telling, and has a lot of dialog between the various instruments. It is inspired by a short, unknown melody written by Freddie Mercury. The piece is set for flute, clarinet, bassoon, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, timpani, strings, and piano.

Some of his compositions use artificial intelligence (AI) for inspiration. His primary instrument is piano but he also performed as a semi-professional choir singer (tenor) for over 30 years.
