What is The NOTHING SHOW?

a PHILOSOPHY SHOW FOR ROCKERS, launched on the belief that the world of ideas is an essential part of rock, often overshadowed by the ecstatic spectacles of hedonism, outrage and fashion (all of which have their own currents of thought). Writers, thinkers and sub-cultural revolutionaries will be explored here through the lens of a life spent on and off the road, stage, and microphone - a necessarily personal perspective of grappling with the thickness of thought .

Who is NILS FRYKDAHL?

a rock singer, actor and multi-instrumentalist, touring and recording since 1990 with various practitioners of Rock Against Rock : Idiot Flesh, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Free Salamander Exhibit, Faun Fables and Charming Hostess. As a stage and voice actor, my roles have been largely non-human (Adult Swim's "Tigtone" being a notable exception).
