Engineer Jack Kepler intercepts a distress signal and makes his way to investigate. Kepler arrives at another defunct vessel, where he meets Kerrigan, the ship's AI operating system. Ecstatic to find each other in the void of space, together, they just might be able to make it out alive.

Kepler and Kerrigan put their heads together to try and create a functioning ship out of their two broken ones. 

Kepler has to decide if he can trust Kerrigan and utilize his superior knowledge to help them survive. Kerrigan needs Kepler's hands to do the work.

Kerrigan, noticing that human engineer Jack Kepler is in bad shape, utilizes his vast robot intelligence to create a medicine for Kepler.

Kepler must decide if Kerrigan's intentions are altruistic and learn to trust him if he is going to survive.
