Will Clarke mans the controls: Making his Dirtybird debut in January with "Badness" on DIRTYBIRD 10, follwing up with "The Boogie Woogie" EP and lazer-snapping "808Frenzy" on "DIRTYBIRD BBQ - Grill$ons Revenge" collection, the bristly Bristol-based spandex enthusiast has enjoyed a beautiful summer with releases on Defected, Emerald City and Turbo and unforgettable shows across the US, Australia and Europe.

Returning to the label with the bulbous two-track EP "Turn It Up," Clarke does just that: Writhing in carnal groove simplicity, he taps into the roots of timeless, low-down, butt-wriggling house music with three obscene examples of strong-armed tech funk. "Can You Funk" punches with Breach-level hookiness, and Turn It Up does the loopy-loop with Dirtybirds trademark vocal trippiness.

I thought it sounded epic in the studio. But then I heard it at a festival - and then I heard it on the radio (Annie Mac's show nonetheless) and yah, i'm down with amazing over prolific any day.

House duo HOLLAPHONIC is back with their second EP called STAND UP!  The first track WHA? impresses with a PULSATING CHICAGO BASS and carefully placed vocal ELEMENTS while retaining the TRIBAL GROOVE throughout. The title track presents the upbeat counterpart with a BOUNCY DROP ornamented with an LFO SYNTH which contrast beautifully with the UNIQUE PAD SYNTH and VOCAL in the break.
