Deep Therapy is a peak time techno label with a style that blends thundering percussion with intense synth riffs, and the new release features two tracks by Karim Alkhayat who has collaborated separately with Danny Wabbit plus Mesbah Al Sakka.

Dubai based, Karim Alkhayat makes is return back on Deep Therapy having last featured on the label in 2019, and his pounding tracks have also been released via other trend setting labels such as The YellowHeads’ Reload Black Label.

Danny Wabbit is a Turkish producer and regular collaborator with Karim Alkhayat. Danny has also released solo tracks on high-flying techno labels like Phobos and Ramon Tapia's Say What? imprint.

Mesbah Al Sakka is a Dutch producer who has previously worked with Karim Alkhayat for a release on White Line Music, but has also released many solo tracks on the same label.

The release opens with “Judas” made by Karim Alkhayat and Danny Wabbit, which blends sinister melodies plus stabbing pads with dark atmospherics and rolling percussion. “Higher Dimension” is the collaboration with Mesbah Al Sakka plus Karim Alkhayat, and it’s a much deeper cut with hypnotic synths and melodic groove layered over tough percussion.

Now here's a classic 2020 version of contemporary Techno for "Dark Energy".
Ghost layering on the kick drum and hard and loud metal percussions combine with the acid bassline from the original, along with my contra percs and give a great feel and vibe to this remix. 

djseanEboy's version is on point, his mix is really good despite the hard elements he chose to include in his recipe. Loving the fact that he slices up my original chords in a profound way, giving a strict character to his version. 
I also love the overlays of his own elements, like the bass pad he chose to follow the notation pattern of the original's chords, as well as his added pads on the breakdown. 
room for improvement exists also. I would have given the track an greater overall presence at the 180-280 region to make it fuller, but, this is me!

This is a good version!

September the 25th meets Italian dj duo - MOTVS to join CODEX Family!

@motvsofficial means movement in the ancient latin language, and that's the main goal that Leonardo and Claudio want to achieve with this project: make the people move. Since their first release in 2019 the duo has emerged as one of the most promising acts in today’s techno scene. Both guys come from Rome, a city that has heavily influenced their musical backgrounds, starting from the early rave scene across the beginning of the century. Starting out as party lovers, they visited some of the most important clubs in the city,
and few months later they both started djing in a small club and there has started their friendship. Since their ideas and musical tastes were in the same line, the next step was clear: make their own music... so MOTVS was born.

Of course they took their time, patiently refining their skills as djs and producers, they were able to create their own style, till their productions were noticed to several labels like Autektone, Codex, IAMT, Reload Records, and simultaneously they started to get support from big names like Spartaque, Joseph Capriati, T78, Oliver Heldens and Nusha, just to name a few.

Nowadays the MOTVS name can be seen regularly on most of the top techno charts, and this is only the begin: with tons of tracks constantly in the making, the path has been set: MOTVS is here to stay.

With this release they would like to extend their vision of "cosmic techno".
In "Fade to Grey" everything is designed to give a "crescendo feeling" that brings the listeners across multiple dimensions.
Instead "X-Gen" - that is more straight and brings the listeners on a darker side surrounded by a more tense and sci- fi atmosphere.
