This win is a historic achievement for the singer from Salvador, Bahia, and was a significant recognition for her contemporary work. Next up to go DTS, we are delighted to welcome a young and up and coming selector, by the name of Renata (@renatamaris). 

Renata is a London-based DJ, mostly known for her eclectic sets playing across a spectrum of genres from house, jazz to afro, psych and electronica. 

A regular at various venues including Spiritland and BBE Store along with music festivals like Houghton, Gottwood and Love International.

We came across a couple of mixes online and were confident that she could curate a nice little selection of music to suit our vibes!

For her invitation to head DTS, Renata has kept the selection on a housier tip and doesn't mess about with the quality of tunes selected; letting the tracks do the talking as they should do!
