Collective Effervescence is named for the sociological concept coined by Èmile Durkheim, which generally states that when people come together as communities, they retain the ability to act as one.

Such is the truth of how your bodies all over North America responded to this visceral selection of Soohan's newest remixes and edits, often meant directly for festival crowds. Worldly rhythms abound as Soohan introduces you to the likes of Adèle & Zalem, A-WA, Sukhwinder Singh & Vijay Prakash, and Ana Tijoux through 808-tinged lenses. Interspersed are moments of re-interpreted pop genius. Ayahuasca Remixed is sonic alchemy from Brazilian-born artist Poranguí, translated through the lenses of visionary producers and DJs and born from a prayer to bridge worlds from the consciousness of the master plant medicine onto the dance floor. 

It came to life through a meeting and friendship with musician and producer Sahuna Love (aka Shamans Dream) and blossomed with the help of Amani Friend of Desert Dwellers / Desert Trax / Liquid Bloom. 

Each song weaves the medicine of the original, while beckoning listeners to explore and express their prayers or meditations through embodied movement.

Deep, tribal music is that which carries the present minded listener to the doorstep of infinity.

The second edition of The Space Between downtempo yoga mix series welcomes Mose (@mosemusica).

Founder of @ResuenoMusic, medicine musician, producer, and auditory healer, Mose spends much of his time in Guatemala where cacao ceremonies, Kirtan and ecstatic dance have had a major influence on his productions and DJ style.

It is there on Lake Atitlan that he founded the weekly SunSet Cacao Dances where members of the community have the opportunity to journey deep into dance in a container of deep intention and free of alcohol and other substances.

Having been nomadic since 2011, he has developed a sound all his own through interaction with cultures from around the world. He finds a way to fuse the organic elements of tribal traditions with modern production techniques in order to create an entrancing journey for both relaxed listeners and those eager to move their bodies.
