Rudy Sarzo is best known for his bass guitar playing with Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, and Whitesnake, and has also played with several well known heavy metal and hard rock acts including Manic Eden, Dio, Blue Öyster Cult, Geoff Tate's Queensrÿche and Devil City Angels.
With a touring career that started in 1981 with Ozzy Osbourne and spanning decades, we talked about what makes a musician valuable to a band as well as what he doesn’t like about the years of traveling. The worldwide lockdown is obviously affecting his ability to tour with The Guess Who so we discuss the future of touring and how the music business is changing.

Traci Callahan is my guest today and she is making a comeback to the highest levels of beach volleyball. My interview with Traci took some wild turns as she discussed her career as a professional beach volleyball player. She spoke about her struggles with bulimia in college and the need to switch schools even after a successful freshman year. She then started her professional beach volleyball career and had some success but not what she was hoping for. It's rare to have a professional athlete speak so openly about her struggles with weight loss, sexual assault and self doubt. After moving around a bit and even switching careers her husband, Matt, encouraged her to give beach volleyball another try and give it everything she’s got.

She has learned to elevate her game and have gratitude for the people in her life. She is continuing to share her story and work ethic with local high school players as well as writing a book on how to get recruited for younger players.

AM Davies is my guest on today’s podcast. AM is a multi-faceted person who works to support and advocate for others who work as dancers and strippers. Her own background as a stripper, pole dancer and pole dancing instructor give her unique insights to what these workers need and deserve. We had a great talk about her dancing career and advocacy for dancers across the nation. She shares her story as well as many other dancers on her podcast and social media pages.

We also discuss her accident which led to the amputation of her lower left leg. Being an exotic dancer just became that much harder learning how to walk and perform with a prosthetic leg. The discussion also mentions the negative effect the worldwide pandemic has affected strippers and everyone involved with the dance clubs.

My guest on today's podcast is country singer Lucas Hoge. Originally from a town of 44 people in Hubbell, NE, Lucas is a country artist with Top 30 and Top 40 singles and his last album “Dirty South” went No. 1 on Billboard for Country album sales. He’s an avid outdoorsman and hosts the Sportsman Channel show “Hoge Wild”. Lucas has performed on the Grand Ole Opry and overseas for 12 years entertaining our troops for the Wrangler National Patriot Tour.

Unfortunately the worldwide lockdown has affected both his television show and touring for music. We talk about how the lockdown has specifically affected him and how he has kept a good attitude while waiting for travel to re-open. One of the subjects I was excited to speak with him about is his ability to meet people on the road and make them friends. He shares his story how he met the founder of Cabela’s at the end of a show and partnered together thru the years.
