Welcome to the SAINTuary, in this first installment I've ventured outside of my "Normal" style to help broaden my horizons

Presenting Entelechy's set from Footwork Entertainment's incredible 3-room 'Monster Bash' Halloween party at Herman's Upstairs in Victoria BC; This live recording captures the magic of his early-evening-ember-stoking-set, amidst a spectacle of spooky decorations, fantastic costumes, and a haunted sea of good vibes! A house and techno foray intended to lure peculiar, delightful, and devious beings to a celebratory dancefloor. A deeply memorable night and one of the finest Halloween bashes we've experienced in a hot minute! We hope you enjoy giving this another spin, discovering it for the first time, or playing it whenever you're in the mood to get a party started! :D

Entelechy - Live At Monster Bash

This is a DJ set I recorded live in one shot at home. It's a good example of what I do now. The set starts at 85 BPM and ramps gradually up to 120 BPM over the course of an hour and includes variety of electronic dance styles. The unifying theme is that they all have some kind of world music flavor. About 1/3rd of the tracks are my original production. I improvise live over the tracks on the Linnstrument and keytar.

Because of the BPM ramp a set like this will fit in best in between a DJ playing Dub or maybe DnB and another DJ playing house or techno, or as a ramp up between a downtempo melllowish set and a more full on set. 

I can also go in the reverse direction, starting at a higher BPM and gradually ramping down ... but it's way more fun to bring the energy up than down ;).
