Yes! Permaculture and aquaculture for carbon sequestration at scale. What does an undertaking like this look like? I believe that the best models we have for this come from small-scale rural/peri-urban cooperatives (antigonish movement), and regional polycentric governance systems (regional districts). Anyone curious about what I mean, I encourage to please reach out, as I will be looking for collaborators to help strategically position proposals to develop fail and scale fast pilots (first in the Pacific Northwest where I reside, but others could pick up this work elsewhere).

The main challenge here is that many educated and powerful people are locked into various forms of debt bondage, and/or concepts of selfhood tied to material worth. These people have a hard time seeing outside of the daily grind required to uphold and sustain their lifestyles--either because status anxiety governs their outlook on life, or because they have given that up, and yet are still trapped (perhaps because of interdependent relationships with friends and family). French composer Vincent Villuis aka AES Dana follows up on his highly acclaimed [ Perimeters ] album released in 2011 with a vibrant and powerful opus titled [ Pollen ] which presents 10 tracks fusing IDM / Downtempo, Deep Tech and Progressive Trance. 
A cinematic album which offers new perceptions of the work of the composer who weaved symphonic pads into deep bass grooves and haunting themes while bringing out a certain melancholia brushed by stratified rhythms. 

Passionate about the concept of pollination and how it transposes with music, sounds, technology and humanity, the artist recorded and gathered moments of his life as he walked through cities, fields, seaside and airports. Back in the studio, he introduced these field recordings in his electronic compositions to yield tracks that are eclectic yet retain a common essence. 
In this configuration, man and machine are both pollinators and pollenizers; music is the pollen.

Moontribe Full Moon Gathering, May 2012. Aka Super Moon, as the moon apppeared 14% larger in the sky. It also happened to be my birthday. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend it.

I closed out the gathering with this long (2.5 hr) set. I had a grip of new & different material to work with, so it's a bit edgier in places than my typical sets, but it's one of my favorite DJ experiences ever.

Behold our first music release from the spectacular Tropical Oasis Retreat Maui!

We are starting with the amazing @dj-maggie's set from Sunday morning :). This was recorded live together with yoga teacher Meghan Ganser (pictured).

Yoga was a big part of this event and the first two mornings featured yoga on the dance floor to dj live sets :)

Mixing since 2005. Maggie has played as a resident DJ for her beloved Moontribe community and other fantastic crews of desert dancers, the delightful folks at Tropical and Lightning in a Bottle, and has had her mixes featured on several online radio shows and blogs.
