Evergone

This is another one of my space songs that I upload periodically. This one is a bit sci-fi with aliens and UFO's. It's a call for help, for anyone or anything, to save us before we blow ourselves up! Charlie and my beautiful wife Ana are singing on this one, I think I am too in the chorus. I wrote it 2008 and it's pretty spaced-out! I spent a lot of time on the video too, that's brand new, I pieced together a nice alien-based video, a saucer's delight with loads of eye-candy! It took my a while to edit so I hope everyone enjoys it. Try to think back to your childhood, rewatch "E.T." or "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind", I think I wrote it after watching one of those films for the hundredth time! My last walk in the quarter

Ah, the people we meet, and cross paths with, in this life…. So many experiences. How do we respond, especially if life clashes with these chance meetings? And what becomes of it? Once when looking for a place to rent, (25 years ago) I stopped to talk with an old man sitting on a bench. He had so much to say. My partner slowly became furious with me for taking the time to talk with him. We don’t have to wonder how that relationship went. In other words, this song is not about her…. Hee-hee. Or the old man for that matter. However, there are moments when paths cross, sometimes coming from very different trajectories and all of a sudden something wonderful happens in that moment. Gather, you might have experienced that too. This song is about a brief encounter with a kindred spirit, where our life trajectories did not change: A moment in passing. The song also contains some socially relevant thoughts/ lyrics about the world and my experience of it. Thoughts are thoughts though, and I find the more flexibly malleable I am with them, especially when it comes to the relative truths they may, or may not contain, the freer I am. Seems the more I attach to thoughts and refuse to change, the worse off it seems to get… But that’s just me. Hope you enjoy the song, Mark

Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am a pretty good lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks. I'm not a pro or a great musician but I do what I can with the tools that I have! I belong to the "Keep Humans In Music Movement" (KHMM)!
