Renowned music label KD RAW, founded by celebrated DJs and producers Kaiserdisco, is on the verge of a groundbreaking milestone: on August 18, 2023, the label will celebrate its 100th release. For this special occasion, Kaiserdisco and their team have assembled an exceptional lineup of artists from their close circle, who will contribute their musical talents to commemorate this milestone. 

Among the talented artists participating in this significant release are Alessandro Grops, DJ Dextro, Drunken Kong, Frank Biazzi, Mark Broom & DJ Love, Polyvinyl aka Umek, The Southern, Uncertain, and, of course, Kaiserdisco themselves. Each of them is known for their unique artistic vision and distinctive contributions to the electronic music scene. 

Since its inception, KD RAW has made a name for itself by releasing high-quality music that pushes the boundaries of the techno genre. The label has managed to establish a strong presence in the international club culture and is considered one of the go-to destinations for fans and artists seeking innovative and powerful techno tracks. 

The 100th release from KD RAW will undoubtedly be a milestone for the label and its artists. Each of the participating artists has contributed an exclusive track that reflects the diversity and creativity of the electronic music landscape. From driving basslines to hypnotic melodies, the compilation will provide listeners with an unforgettable sonic experience. 

Kaiserdisco and their team are overwhelmed by the support they have received since the beginning of their journey. An artist with a diverse and storied relationship with the dance music scene, GMJ & Matter are proud to see Kasper Koman make his label debut with the twin-track "Sinking Sky / Biome". A veteran of more than a century of production credits dating back to a 2008 debut, Kasper Koman has seen his work signed to myriad high-profile labels including the likes of Plattenbank, Anjunadeep and Guy J's Lost & Found. From central Netherlands, Kasper has combined trademark emotion with a powerful and evocative sound that has seen his music supported by such leading tastemakers as Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J himself. Now debuting on Meanwhile, the "Sinking Sky" opener is characterised by a driving beat and metronomic hi-hat pattern. A running 16th note bassline pattern enters the fray in the second movement with a fizzing vibrancy provided by resonating and filtered effects. A cast of additional characters add to the overall sonic landscape including a beautifully juxtaposed pad progression. A spine-tingling breakdown provides acetylene-edged emotion via the extended bassline motif, before hitting its stride once more in the latter stages to wondrous effect and no small amount of production talent. "Biome" continues the narrative of raw effects-laden power, while a strong kick lays the foundation for a piercing percussive groove, adding swing to the off-beat. A well-crafted sonic palette supplies a soft chord progression of Kraftwerk-inspired imagination as a meandering array of well-placed effects, white-noise washes and rasping bass notes create a mosaic of sounds. The result is a hypnotic, angular offering that keeps listener interest piqued without a central melody seeing the 6-minute piece fly past in an instant. “Something To Believe” is a serene and warming world of progressive sound with smooth rolling drums and spaced out vocals. The synths are polished and shiny as they ride up and down the scales and take you to euphoria. ‘Thoughts’ is another perfectly elongated groove, this time with rubbery bass and loopy hits and freaky vocals marbling the arrangement.
