I like how it’s turning out so I’m sharing my progress.

Wrote this song for fun about an hour ago, I didn’t want to wake the neighbors so I’m singing somewhat quietly. Was watching a Retsupurae and they said ‘everything but the kitchen sink,’ and I don’t love that phrase much but it’s a fun little colloquialism, so I wanted to write something around that. This is just what came to mind in that moment.

Got the lyrical idea just after quiet hour in my building, so that’s not ideal. I like “What more could you want” and the iterations on that, everything else in the lyrics is very scratch.

A friend of mine told me I could rescind my two-week notice.

Practicing this song a few times a day for an open mic showcase, and then a contest.

Starts with a waltz, then the main song, then the waltz again, then the closing bit. Which is also waltzy.

Oh yeah, there was a thing on my piano that made that annoying vibration. Ignore that.
