Nice Combination of the driving Drums+Bass, with those ambientesque tops. The Bass though could for my taste be a little bit more dynamic to reach its full potential to drive the piece forward

I really love this tune!  40% for the normal reasons, 60% for the double clap at the end of the sections.  So cute.

Nice variations in your hat patterns.  Keeps it interesting.

Made for KVR One Synth Challenge 185 with Cherry Audio Synthesizer Expansion Modul (based on the 1974 Oberheim one) in FL Studio 2024

Lightning and Thunder... the long Way back Home

This is my entry "SEM" for the 185th edition of the KVR One Synth Challenge where all sounds were generated using the Cherry Audio Synthesizer Expander Module VST plugin using a mix of free and included effects in Ableton Live 11.
I hope you enjoy it and feel free to offer any comments on how I might improve it if I do a remix for a wider release.

KVRAudio.com's OSC 185 July 2024. Using over 60 instances of only Cherry Audio's "Synth Expander" synthesizer to create all sounds in this track. 

Created in Ableton Live Suite 12 with Ableton effects (compressor, autofilter, eq 8, limiter, amp, cabinet, delay, hybrid reverb, saturation), Valhalla's Super Massive, and Limiter 6.

Good free "all around" instrument. A lot of cool features, but not overly complicated. Nice sounding filters. The effects section may seem a bit rudimentary, but still has some useful options. Great presets that show the character and possibilities of this synth.

I've done music all my life, but sound synthesis is another beast. Zebralette is insanely impressive and powerful. I spent several hours on that opening pluck sound, so I had to use it! I also spent hours making a rhodes imitation, more drums, and some upbeat jazz fusion, but I ran out of time. Next Zebralette, I'll be ready!
