My stage name is 16 Mochini and official name is Tshepo Barry Masega and I reside in Munsieville ext2 in Krugersdorp/ Mogale City, born on the 14th of July 1993.
Rap/ Motswako music has been a part of me from my humble beginnings, but only started taking it seriously after I matriculated from Thuto Lefa high school in Munsieville.
I started recording at Phat Mic Records the executive producer being Phat Skills and he immediate took me under his wing, but I was still unsigned and independent.
I have performed at number of events locally in different regions, to name a few, Bela Bela in Limpopo, a few night-clubs in Johannesburg and I also performed at an event after I was invited by the South African Broadcasting Channel (SABC).
I recorded several songs under recording label 12 Degrees, by one of the best producers in the West Rand.
I have collaborated with a number of big names, artists and producers in the West Rand in my rap career, to name but few, Bonang, King Jaz, Tonic, Letona Tobetsa, Phat Skills, Mxomza, Sbuda De Mayor, Mzebbs, Ex Manners, Keneilwe Sbuda etc…
I specialize Motswako rap and English, I have mastered the flow and I am still growing from strength to strength not only as an artist but as an individual who is looking to perfect his skill and talent.
