I am SoundSA born Monwabisi Bob Magewana, Place of Birth South Africa Eastern Cape at Engcobo. I proudly represent two small towns Ngcobo and Sterkspruit. I grew up with the love of arts, started as a dancer in primary school in a group doing pantsula dance. Through dancing I listened to a lot of music and eventually fell in love with producing music. I started to make musical instrumentals which lead to song writing. My specialty is in a variety of genres as a Performing Artist, Music Producer, Song Writer, Audio Engineer and as an Entrepreneur. Its now been OVER 14 years in the music production scene, am also venturing into other interesting fields within the media industry. I studied National Diploma in (STUDIO WORK) majoring in {SOUND ENGINEERING, MUSIC PRODUCTION & ARRANGING, ELECTRONIC MUSIC AND KEYBOARD TECHNIQUE and MUSIC BUSINESS}. My sound is largely influenced/Inspired by my upbringing, experiences and my Nguni back ground as an African child that belongs in this whole wide world we are all born into, therefore I incorporate a lot of African-instruments mixed with western, eastern instruments in my sound that captures audiences from different cultures around the world. That explains a lot the versatility I poses in my music and sound.
