For episode #22 we have a legend here, who prepared only vinyl mix!

Roman Hyde - his beginnings in playing date back to 1997. At that time, he co-founded the X-treme club in Frenštát. From Frenštát, you also know him from events called Hard Work. Thanks to Kaisersozeho, who noticed his talent, he became a resident of the Depo club in Olomouc. Right after that, he was accepted into the Brno techno agency Lunar, which represented names like Kaisersoze, Pietr, Leo Lycra, and Daho with Ginger, and this opened the way for him to events such as Citadela, Apokalypsa, Orion Hall, and then he became a resident of Bassblaster. He played at major festivals like Summer of Love, Svojšice, Cosmic Trip, Hradhouse, etc. From 2002 to 2010, he was also a resident of the Ostrava Fabric with X-mix and Genetix nights, and here in 2024, he played again at Techno 90”. Thanks to Roman, artists like Alexander Kowalski with Raz Ohara, Heiko Laux, Diego, Dave Ellesmer, Daniel Bell, Jeff Milligan, etc., performed in the Czech Republic. He also dedicated himself to creating mixed compilations, which were very successful and appreciated. Even after years, fans still listen to Beautiful place, Cafe de Paris, Gattacu. After a 12-year break, he dusted off his records and after a few events, recorded a successful mixed compilation Mechanismo, which can be listened to on Soundcloud.

Rave like it’s 1991! Psycho Thrill Cologne founder CLAUS BACHOR spinnin’ and cuttin’ the final chapter of the famous BNKR ALRM spot somewhere in Cologne (4:30-7:00 am) in an emotional as seriously bangin’ 100% vinyl, cut-up 90s Rave-Techno-set, enriched with an abundance of so called true “Psycho Thrill Cologne” Techno Classics and combined with essential and contemporary upfront soundz as well. That rave went like all those legendary “bnkr alrm” nites before, where the sweat always dropped from the ceiling while people started to dance their asses off like hell. Luv-n-respect goes first to the whole awesometastic BNKR family (crowd and crew) through all those adventurous years and also to all the other involved DJ companions of that nite like Johannes Volk, Roland Casper, David Langer, Anabasine, Thorsten Hoffmann, Kavaro, Blint, Neitscho Miran Nolden and Stickdorn.  

This mix is also dedicated to BOB MONTAGUE, who has passed away peacefully after a long illness in the morning of dec 13th. Also well known under his nickname Punjabi Bill, the famous creator of Cologne's "Ifficial Art / BNKR Project", has been one of PSYCHO THRILL Cologne's best friends and one of his biggest supporters and wise mentors of the last 25 years. He's still gone now but will never be forgotten. R.I.P. / Thank U and Chapeau BOB !!

Q: 2017 already started. Do you have any New Year´s resolution? 
 
​A: We are living in a crazy world at the moment, so much hate for bullshit things. I don't have any resolution because I never do it, but I have a wish and hope that LOVE will surround us and help us to create a better world. Peace.
 
Q: Your imprint “Dame-Music” celebrates it´s 7th birthday this year. Is there something special scheduled for this?
 
A: ​This year is gonna be a special one. 3 vinyl releases are already scheduled. The first one (Dame-Music 034) will be an EP by myself featuring a remix by one of my favorite producers. That's all I can so for now, let's keep the surprise!

Q: We´ve heard there´s an upcoming tour in Asia and Australia the coming weeks. Tell us more about that!
 
​A: I'm always thankful with my job to travel the whole world. I'm more than happy to start the tour in South Korea, followed by China, then on to Thailand before finishing in Australia, where I will play at 3 different festivals. So far I think it's ​8 shows in four weeks across 2 continents. I'm really excited about this tour because I've never been to South Korea and Thailand and it's always a pleasure to discover new cultures & beautiful people.

From her family origins in deepest Dorset and the Rhineland through the Celtic mists of the West Highlands to the magic lands of Merlin in West Wales, where she has lived almost all her life, Arwen has been immersed in music. From her parents’ hippie tastes and obsessions with self-sufficiency and sound systems she was exposed to a wealth of music ... Donovan to Dylan, Joni to Jimi and everything between.
As a child she fell in love with Jean Michel Jarre’s Equinox, the beginning of a lifetime affair with Electronica. At an early age with family and friends she was involved with Blue Moon, Harvest Fair and early Glastonbury Festivals and met many musicians. A family visit to Germany took her to Nature One, a techno event where she was on stage with Jam & Spoon! Teenage years saw her at Big Love and Universe and in Tony Andrews’ experimental sound field at Glastonbury listening to Underworld. Inspired, she worked with SPACE for the next 25 years doing production, UV décor and playing techno and chill- out.
She has done a huge number of events with SPACE, the Pedal Power Stage in the Glastonbury Green Fields, Templehead, Big Chill, Club Dog, Megadog and Solfest with Michael Dog alongside Steve Hillage’s System 7, Merv’s Eatstatic, Platipus Sound System, The Orb, Ninja Tunes’ Matt Black and Mixmaster Morris. She has been deeply involved in the German electro scene and worked on english language translations for Sven Vath’s Cocoon label, visiting the then Frankfurt Club many times. More recently she has been learning with Freedom Engine Academy’s Matthew Johnson (wagon Repair) to make her own electronic music. Her most recent performance was at Unearthed Festival in Pembrokeshire.
