Evenings Twilight Dawn

“Gonna Make it Home” is a haunting, sea-swept anthem that channels the raw power of nature and the resilience of the human spirit. Composed in Fairchild during a stretch of bitter November wind, the track feels like a sonic journal entry from a storm-tossed vessel—both literal and metaphorical.
From the first gust of lyrics—“The wind’s been pushin’ for three days straight now”—we’re plunged into a world of creaking sails, spinning compasses, and the cold pull of the undertow. The production blends folk rock grit with ambient textures, evoking a windswept deck lit only by a flickering lantern. The vocalist's carries the weight of the storm, equal parts defiance and desperation, as the chorus pleads: “Are we gonna make ’er home?”
