A piano floats through the room. I sit down at it and start to play. The room disappears. All at once I find myself in the air, in heaven. The clouds disappear. I float, fly, until I am in nowhere. I am music and sounds become light. Until a voice calls me and I awake in my studio.

The "Rauhnächte", also known as the "Yule nights," are a tradition found in many parts of Europe and refer to the period between Christmas and January 6th. 

The Rauhnächte have their roots in pre-Christian times and are closely connected to mythology and folklore. They were considered a time when the boundaries between the world of humans and the spiritual world were particularly permeable and the spirits and ancestors were particularly present. During this time, much was also wished for the new year and predictions were made for the coming year.

Today, some people view the Rauhnächte as a time for reflection and contemplation, set goals and wishes for the future, release old baggage and stuff like that... 
Some doing rituals, meditating, or writing in journals. Everyone can celebrate and make use of them in their own way.

I always have the feeling during this days, that time progresses more slowly.

Fatal Morgana

This track has been in the making for some time. It expresses my worries about the threat of extinction of so many species on this earth. Caused by the greedy side of humanity. We need to do more. Particularly those who make important decisions and can have a big impact on the world's affairs. It's not good enough!
