BIG ACE MUSIC BIO

Anthony Thomas aka BIG ACE THE KING was born in the small urban town called Roxbury, Massachusetts. As a youth Ace was a lead choreographer for the famous hip hop dance troop called “The Funk Affects” whose high speed technical dance moves made them a neighborhood household name as the best in Boston. The group became the opening act for headline acts like The Sugar Hill Gang, Whodini, Kurtis Blow, and Run DMC. 

In middle school Ace came up with his entertainment company called Big Ace Productions, and taught choreography to acts like The WonderTwins, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Ralph Tresvant, and later the New Kids on the Block, and Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch at the beginnings of their careers. 

Ace was titled the Best Dancer in New England, and was also credited for the dance choreography for Hollywood films like Ted, Daddy’s Home, and Central Intelligence. 

In the late 90’s Ace started acting, and has featured in over twenty films including The Fighter, Patriots Day, and can be seen in the detective thriller “Spencer Confidential”. 

In 2019 Ace created his clothing brand called BIG ACE TEES, and opened an online store on the Big Ace Productions website. Ace is producing hip hop music, and releasing new music single on all online music platforms which he wrote and produced. He currently teamed up with Canadian music Producer Ras Fiery and created his first album being released in 2023.  The first single is out now called I Am Hiphop.
