A lengthy two-chord love letter

What do you do when the life partner you trusted abruptly leaves you after twelve years? And all the agreements you made before her departure turn out to be untrue and you never hear from her again?

There's not much you can do. Let it consume you if that's how you're wired. And wait around for a few years for the contact that was promised. And keep wondering why someone would choose to do this to someone.

Alas, I wrote this song. It's currently looking like the only closure I will get. Goodbye, thanks for the trainwreck.

As a wedding gift she asked me to write her a song. "I Figured it Out" was that song. A ukulele based sweet love song. The prequel. Look for it on my page.

She didn't ask for TrainWreck. I guess one could say I did. It took me a few years to finish. I think of it as the sequel.
