The year is around 2006 - 2012, when blogs and the one love forums influenced the local dance scene. 

The sound was a mutation of the electroclash scene trickled with some disco and ‘80s classics with noisy electro house. 

At it's peak, legends like Justice, Tiga, Boys Noize, Busy P, Bang Gang Djs, Ajax, Mehdi, 2ManyDjs, Soulwax, Erol Alkan, Cut Copy, Switch, The Presets, Digitalism (to name a few) pioneered the way to another dance dimension and beyond. 

RIP mid 2000 indie dance music, the journey was unreal and you will never be forgotten.
