In Gori, around 90 km from Tbilisi, six wind turbines have been steadily generating power for the past two years. Qartli Wind Farm is the first wind farm built in Georgia and the first commercial wind power plant built in the South Caucasus. It was made possible with the support of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, the European Union, and other international donors, via the Green for Growth Fund.

В Гори, примерно в 90 км от Тбилиси, в течение последних двух лет шесть ветряных турбин непрерывно генерируют энергию. “Картли” - первая ветряная электростанция, построенная в Грузии, и первая коммерческая ветряная электростанция, построенная на Южном Кавказе. Это стало возможным благодаря поддержке Европейского банка реконструкции и развития, Европейского Cоюза и других международных доноров через “Зеленый фонд для роста” (GGF).
