She has danced for notable choreographers and clients such as Karole Armitage, Marc Jacob’s, Desmond Richardson, Quixotic, Maroon 5, Lorde, and more. She is currently developing a large scale immersive dance show among other projects.

Kia “The Mix Artist” Shavon is an NYC based freelance audio engineer (recording, mixing and mastering) with over 10 years of experience. She was introduced to the world of music when she began playing the drums at the age of 8. While undergoing classical training for percussion at Hampton University, she by chance discovered her passion for audio engineering, for which she earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Engineering and Technology. Throughout her career, she’s mixed over 1,000 songs while working with hundreds of artists worldwide including A$AP Rocky, Safaree, Lil’ Pump, Slick Rick, Foxy Brown, Lil’ Cease, and NBA Entertainment, to name a few.

Krzysztof T. Pastuszka is an interdisciplinary artist who spans sculpture, drawing, engineering, and computer design. Much of his work focuses on the complexity and tension in transition/transitioning, giving voice to his experience growing up as a trans kid in the late 90s -2000s. By obsessive reimagining of ideas, he generates a multitude of parts dependent on one another to focus on mechanical movement and the interplay between objects to visualize the intricacies of change and focus on the necessity of independent components and assemblies cooperating to create movement. He uses motion as a way to expose all the micro-operations and mental acrobatics involved in navigating and rejecting the unchanging nature of cisnormativity. He combines his array of skills to envision and compose an elaborate trail of blueprints archiving the hidden and unseen essence of his trans experience. Building documentation that didn't exist in his childhood.

Krzysztof received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts; he recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from NYC College of Technology and is a patented designer and machinist. His work has been exhibited at Elisa Contemporary Art gallery, the New York Design Center, the Affordable Art Fair, and Visual Arts Gallery in NYC.

Sophie Maja Hughes is a New York City Based actor, singer, and creator. Sophie is from Durango, Colorado, and graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy New York Conservatory in 2021. Since graduating, Sophie has performed in several musical showcases and has acted in short films and television. Sophie’s dream is to create art that inspires others and tells stories that lift up minority voices. Sophie’s pronouns are they/them.

I want leather to be something that everyone can own and that is more appealing than unsustainable plastic substitutes. I’d like to offer sliding scale and sex worker discounts to allow marginalized folks and those excluded from leather crafting and culture the opportunity to participate. The purpose of my craft is to offer locally and ethically made objects with careful thought put into how I can most sustainably practice my trade and contribute to my communities.

Jen Berger works as an interdisciplinary, community and socially engaged artist and educator. She uses performance, visual arts, painting, printmaking, puppetry, & video for education and dialogue to raise awareness and intervene in social issues that affect us all. Jen works as a teaching artist, working with students, who are in early childhood through adult aged students, and hosts creative and educational workshops throughout the community to engage in dialogue and action. 

Along with individually designed projects, Jen is creating community engagement opportunities, and provides project management, through At the Root.

Natalia Kropf-Estell is a queer non-binary Filipino-American interdisciplinary artist. Their work is primarily based in oil paint, though they dabble in printmaking and drawing. Having grown up in southern Indiana, they moved to Baltimore to pursue a BFA in painting at MICA. Growing up in a queer, multicultural household in one of America’s white epicenters had a profound impact on the artist. Currently, they live in downtown Baltimore with their partner, Mars, close friend, Hal, and four very lovely little cats.

Christopher Pat Hanson graduated from Roosevelt School of the Arts (RSA) in Fresno, CA and AMDA, College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, CA, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting. At RSA, Christopher performed as Vadius (The Learned Ladies), Cherdyakov (The Good Doctor) and Cinderella's Prince (Into the Woods). While at AMDA, Christopher performed as Mr. Four (The Adding Machine) and as Traum (A Bright Room Called Day). Christopher has also performed in over a dozen musicals at Roger Rocka's Dinner Theatre with Good Company Players; some of his favorite roles include: Motel (Fiddler on the Roof), The Pirate King (The Pirates of Penzance) and Ruben Salome (Paint Your Wagon). Christopher has also performed with other companies such as Opera San Luis Obispo and Stage Door Repertory Theatre. Christopher is proficient in various accents/ dialects, tap dance and stage combat.

I was born in Hollywood, Florida and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida. I started my dancing journey in my neighborhood, CB County at the age of 7. 

My first inspirations were Michael Jackson, and my family’s dance crew, Hard Knox. But my dance crew were the ones who sparked my interest. My brother, Brandon Herbert was in that crew, and he used to record their trainings. He’ll bring them back home and I’ll watch them on a VCR mocking their same exact moves. One day, he caught me, and wanted to bring me in to a practice. Boy, wasn’t that tough! Just because I was a kid, didn’t mean they were going to take it easy on me. 

My mentor, I.O.TA. made me cry the first day. Not to be mean or anything, but because he saw the potential in me, and wanted to make sure I stayed level-headed. 

Fast forward 3 years later, all of that hard work came into fruition. At the age of 10, I won my first Poppin competition entitled “Soul Cypher” in 2008 in Gainesville, Florida. Basking in that accolade, I decided to actually take my talent serious. 

I’ve started to do more battles and performances in local areas like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Delray, Coral Springs, just a few to name. I started to travel to other states to engage with the other communities and gain a name outside of Florida. That resulted in me winning my first out of state battle, “King of The Street” in Philadelphia. 

Ending my heavy battling passion, I got a special call that changed my life.
During my senior year of high school, Dillard High, I received an audition to join Cirque Du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE show in Las Vegas, Nevada. I took full advantage of it, because I knew the vitality of this opportunity will shift my career to the next level. 

So I spent day and night preparing with the requirements they’ve provided. I graduated high school, and 1 month later, Cirque Du Soleil offered me a position to be a character called “TJ”, an ensemble dancer. 

I had to move out to Las Vegas right away, at the age of 19. Which was definitely a challenging process, but literally, the best decision of my life. A huge stepping stone for my career! 

After being there for two years, I became the back-up soloist, “Wink” and the exposure of doing shows every night and being active in the Vegas scene led to me being on bigger platforms like Red Bull, a Michael Jackson music video, Miss USA, performing for the LV Golden Knights Halftime show, performing with Walk The Moon in Life Is Beautiful and so much more to name! 

Cirque Du Soleil gave me a boost for my career, and I will forever be grateful for that company changing my life. The rest is history! Keep your eyes open for me. There’s so much more to be done.
