Nuno dos Santos’ boutique label SoHaSo (shorthand for Something Happening Somewhere; although, sadly the same can no longer be said of Trouw) has been cruising steadily for the best part of two years now, but "Tonii" might just be the best thing committed to wax yet. Love Over Entropy's 12m original is sturdy with bright flourishes throughout, forever climbing and searching without resolve; techy without, y'know, being techy. 

This retouch comes from none other than Innervisions' main man, although  less overtly lovelorn than we've come to expect. He  twists the lead melody into something resembling a steel pan drum, backed by laser-guided synths pinging all around: a festival-sized breakdown held just at the precipice, never fully cresting. Dixon, you big tease.

The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. Under Black Helmet released his first epic EP, 5 years ago. Especially one thing from the EP has stayed unforgettable, the track "Mute". It will remain as a very good memory for us, so we decided to work with 4 heroes of the Techno Scene on the Mute track.

Mørbeck aka the sample magician, brought a mystical power mood to the track, by reinventing it through the original samples into a catchy tune.

Remco Beekwilder strength is the raw 90s sound which is always a melodic energy bomb what he reflected perfectly in the Mute track.

Farrago made a minimalistic version of the track. Like a wave, carries away everyone. The perfect set starter!

Vril recreated the track as an analog electrical groove bomb, which made every dance floor burn.
