Tried to do something I hadn't heard with this theme before, which with a theme so often covered backed me into a narrow corner indeed (q.v. the song). Results, predictably, are indecisive.

Context turns out to be fairly important in this case: Because a lot of these "songs" were made for a very specific purpose (viz. as essentially static themes for videos that were mostly never made) or no purpose at all (i.e. as disconnect themes and pieces of music I have written and arranged over the years as a proof of concept for other musicians, essentially, but have yet to find some larger body to put them in [and more to the point, probably never will find some larger body to put them in]) many of the pieces end abruptly, are unmixed (or mixed unwell), are repetitive and too long (sometimes even to the point of tediousness, in certain moods), etc. etc. I here affirm I am aware of this defect and that I entertain no elaborate plans to correct or even apologize for it.  This page is mostly intended as a platform for sharing with certain select relevant parties for whom it has become tedious to share by email and not a wider audience. If by chance, though, you are a stranger who in his wanderings has found his way here, I by no mean intend to exclude you; indeed, it is to you whom this "bio" is addressed. These are not always compositions; they are more like arranged ideas and themes -- it is this that I wish to express. 

That said, a lot of this music I still like and stand behind, and it seems to me increasingly sad lately that this stuff just exists without a venue for expression. The old hoary philosophical thing about trees in forests and various acoustic properties, and so on. That, and the fact that my computer has become dangerously unreliable of late -- I thought a place to back all this stuff up might reduce risk of apoplexia/anurysm/suicide/etc. 

One other thing. Any deficiencies vis-à-vis mixing I should like to immediately and totally blame on the equipment whereon it was mixed, and not as a result of any operative error on the part of the person mixing (viz. me). In actuality, though, everything wrong with the mixes (and anything else for that matter) is completely and utterly my own personal fault. I take full credit for these faults; they are as much mine as the music to which they adhere.
